The oxy-fuel cutting process
One of the most effective and cost efficient ways to cut steel and alloy plate is with specially designed oxygen and fuel torches and tips. Plate "burning" begins with the preheating of a spot on the plate surface or edge. Once red hot, a stream of pure oxygen is injected through the torch tip. At over 2500 degrees the steel literally burns as the stream of oxygen continues along the line of the cut. The result is a smooth burned cut edge.
Our line of 5 flame cutting machines, whose operators average over ten years experience each, work to ensure a quality outcome.
