Tumble Blast Wheelabrating
Tumble blast wheelabrating is a process in which small steel or alloy parts are placed in a chamber and are taken through a tumble cycle. While tumbling, the parts are wheelabrated (shot blasted); and all rust, slag, and mill scale are removed from all surfaces of the parts. This process is particularly good for parts that are to be painted or are subject to very tight welding guidelines. Removing rust makes steel easier to weld, cut, and can speed up fabrication, which reduces turnaround time for your project.
